Write for us
Floorscapes publishes original guest essays from installers, architects, interior designers, building designers and materials writers who can hold an Australian argument for at least 1,200 words.
What we are looking for
A Floorscapes guest post is a reported essay, not a product page. It should belong in one of our hubs: timber floors, tiles and stone, vinyl, laminate and hybrid, finishes and care, rooms and Australian houses, or commercial floors. Read a recent piece in the article archive before you pitch, and match the length and the scepticism.
House rules
- Australian English. Metres, colour, organisation, specialised, ageing.
- 1,200 words minimum, usually 1,500–2,200. Lists are allowed; they are not a substitute for prose.
- Original reporting or first-hand trade knowledge. No spinning another brand's blog.
- Descriptive, crawlable links with real
hrefattributes — never "click here". - If you are being paid, or the piece exists to place a commercial URL, say so in the pitch. Those links will carry
rel="sponsored". - No images unless you can prove a Creative Commons, public domain, or original licence we can host.
How to pitch
Use the form below. It posts to /api/contact and is delivered to support@worldwidebacklinks.com. Include a headline, the hub, a 150-word outline, and why you are the person to write it. If we want the piece we will ask for a draft. We do not publish on a deadline you invented for a backlink report.
Questions that are not pitches can go through the ordinary contact the editors form. Standards for fact-checking live on editorial standards.

People also ask
- Does Floorscapes accept guest posts?
- Yes. We want original Australian long-form essays of 1,200 words or more, written for a named topic hub, with a clear reader job to be done. Pitch first — do not send a finished 3,000-word advertorial.
- Do paid or commercially motivated links get a sponsored attribute?
- Yes. Any accepted guest essay that exists to place a commercial link, or that we are paid to publish, carries rel="sponsored" on those links, in line with Google's crawlable-links and outbound-link qualification guidance.
- What topics will you not run?
- Thin round-ups, spun manufacturer copy, crypto, CBD, gambling, and anything that treats Australian Standards as optional decoration. We also reject pieces that only exist to rank a product keyword with no reporting.
